Dr. Michael A. Civin: Building a Career Across Clinical and Academic Psychology

The career of Dr. Michael A. Civin reflects a deliberate balance between clinical service and academic contribution. Over nearly three decades, he has consistently advanced psychology through both practice and education.

Dr. Civin currently practices as a senior psychologist at Rose Hill Psychological Services in the Bronx, a firm he helped establish in 2008. While Rose Hill serves as his primary professional base, he has also maintained a private practice since 2007 in Manhattan, Astoria, and Bayville.

His clinical work centers on psychodiagnostics, where structured testing methods are used to evaluate personality and behavior. These assessments inform therapeutic planning and allow for targeted interventions. Dr. Civin also works extensively in adult and adolescent psychology, group therapy, and professional supervision.
